Welcome, Jennifer Wright

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer Wright to the Healthy Acadia team! 

Jennifer joins our Recovery Programs team as Recovery Coach Coordinator in Washington County through Healthy Acadia’s Maine Alliance for Recovery Coaching.

In her new role, Jennifer provides coordination and support for Healthy Acadia's Recovery Coach Program in Washington County. She collaborates with local volunteers and partners across a variety of settings to help build a recovery-ready community with robust support systems.

Jennifer works to grow and strengthen the program and to encourage collaborative community engagement to help those who are seeking recovery. She provides ongoing support, continuing education, and program coordination for recovery coaches and actively recruits new volunteers to grow the program to meet the needs of the communities of Washington County. sh

Jennifer currently resides in Princeton.

Jennifer, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

My own journey to recovery and my desire to help people in a variety of ways achieve their goals.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work? 

Being able to see a community flourish through support of individuals, children and family members heal.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

My own recovery.

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

Near the water. The water is healing and peaceful.
